As with many bands, Quiet Lions have lots of online platforms for their fans to interact with them, which is great, but means lots of time creating and posting content for those platforms. I built their new site to gather information automatically from lots of different sources online, so it looks impressive with no extra effort required by the band.
Built and designed with flexibility in mind, the new Quiet Lions site includes a full screen video header with quick social links, tour dates from their Songkick account (with the option to hide this section when they have no upcoming gigs), merch from their Bandcamp profile, a signup to their Mailchimp mailing list, their releases from their Soundcloud account, recent tweets and recent Instagram posts.
They also have the option to add a landing cover page to display new videos and release information, with a click through to the full site, so that they can highlight new releases straight away.
As with all of the sites I design and build, the Quiet Lions site is fully responsive for both mobiles and tablets. It was built using the WordPress CMS so that when it does need updating it’s quick and easy.
I built in the ability for Quiet Lions to change many aspects of the site, such as colours, logos and background images so that their site can evolve and stay relevant as they market new releases.
