Signature Marketing Group, a digital design and social media strategy agency with a combined 25 years experience in marketing, approached me to design and build their new website on a tight deadline. The brief was to create a website that was eye-catching and modern, that works flawlessly on mobile and tablet, allowing Signature Marketing Group to maximise their SEO potential. As the project moved forward and the website designs started to take shape I was also asked to finalise their logo design.
As the intention was to have the site built and launched as soon as possible, it was more important than ever to ensure that Signature Marketing Group and I worked closely together to bring their website to completion. As they had a good idea of what they wanted, and were able to provide several design inspirations to guide the artistic direction of the site we were able to quickly agree upon a colour scheme and basic layout for all of the pages. This meant that we could move forward to coding the site rapidly, as per my standard project timeline.
Taking inspiration from a rough draft logo that I was provided, I set about combining the various elements into a more professional, more versatile logo, with a black and white variant for uses on multiple backgrounds. To preserve the brand identity, even when space is at a premium, the hand drawn globe can also be used independently as a company icon.
Once the new logo was finalised I provided Signature Marketing Group with files in .png, .svg and .ai formats so that they could use their new logo for any digital or physical applications that might arise.
